Well, that is one way to look at it, days after days after days, coming to an inevitable end. The only thing that is sure about life is death. But that is a very depressing take on life. Just because the end of life is inevitable doesn't mean it signifies to nothing. If we use our life for a good cause, helping people, spreading knowledge, those deeds live beyond us. Though we may not be alive to see the use our life had to the world, if we helped even a few people I think it is safe to say that our life did have a meaning, a small meaning, to a few small people, nothing to the world altogether, but still something. And if we believe in God we certainly know that those acts of kindness will be accounted for and we will be rewarded in heaven. When you believe in God you know that you have the chance to make your life mean something.
